I know it was written a long time back, but just so there's a record if it:

A little while ago I answered an interview question about what I thought was the 'least popular published story' in my (small!) back catalogue. I picked out Sleeping Bears, which, at the time, had attracted no reviews that I knew about, no reader emails, no nothing.

Since then, I've had Sleeping Bears first sales statement* and a brace of reviews. I love knowing that people are reading, and it's an honour that people would spend time and energy reviewing my stories.

Night Owl Romance Reviews give it a 2/5 score

Rainbow Reviews gibe it a 3/5

Literary Nymphs give it a 4.5/5

It's interesting to get such a wide range of scores, especially when the reviewers seem to pick out similar things about the story. I guess it really is a case that what's frustrating to one person is intriguing to another.

I kind of want to answer all of them, but I shall resist, and instead concentrate on making the stories I'm writing at the moment** the best I can make them.

What I will say, though, is that if you read Sleeping Bears and you have questions, please drop me an email or leave me a comment, and I'll be happy to talk.

* (thank you to everyone who bought it - I hope you enjoyed the story!)
** (If you enjoyed Favour and Staytape, you might like to know that I have two new Tawnholme stories on the boil at the moment)

Obviously, I don't vanity-search myself often enough - I've just found a lovely little review of Favor, my Halloween college boys, over at Joyfully Reviewed - posted back in December.

Hurrah! I tend to write short, so that's my first stand-alone review, and it's very complimentary, with sentences like "Favor is a hot, fun story" and "if you’re in the mood for something sweet, hot, and unexpected, pick up Favor."  - thank you Cassie at Joyfully Reviewed!
