God this place was a pit. Mal picked a towel out of the piles on her floor and headed for the tiny shower room. The light was out *again* so she left the hall door open. At least she didn't have to look at the state of the bathroom. There was something fucking *growing* in the corners. She should probably do something about that, but it wasn't like she was here that much, and so long as the light was out and it stayed out of sight. That was another advantage to the tubing and braids, as well -, no slaving over a dye job in said bathroom, and in and out of the shower before the boiler could start spitting cold water at you. That and it looked damn cool, and no one else has it. Her fingers combed through the braids, lingering over the back of her head. Need to get the clippers to the undercut though. Can't be having with hair blurring the barcode tattooed there.
She wrapped the thin towel around her and made for the light of her bedroom, flicking up the volume on the hi-fi as she passed. With 'Never Mind the Methadone' fuelling her, she was dressed in minutes, and had her outfits for tonight, and for Stell's shoot tomorrow in her bag in less than half an hour. She slung the laptop, digicam and other necessities in as well, and hefted her makeup case. She was so used to using the back of the hearse, Wintermute, as a dressing room it was just easier now than trying to prop a mirror somewhere she could get decent light in this pokey room. Probably just as warm as well. God - good thing she was the queen of the after-show party and never had to invite anyone back here. She's not entirely sure that Wintermute still suits the hearse since she got the hot-pink detailing, but she had the plates made up when she was still going as Malificent, and now it would just be a hassle to change them.
